Untuk memonitor ruangan dalam jarak yang jauh, dibutuhkan sebuah IP Cam yang berfungsi menampilkan gambar (video streaming) dalam suatu ruangan. Tetapi kendala yang dirasakan dalam menggunakan IP Cam tersebut harganya masih dirasa sangat mahal. Dengan latar belakang dan pertimbangan tersebut, maka penulis mencoba menawarkan suatu solusi dimana gambar (video streaming) yang ditampilkan tersebut digantikan dengan menggunakan webcam sebagai alternatif dan untuk menggerakan webcam tersebut sejauh 200/eksekusi digunakan motor stepper, sedangkan untuk mengakses sistem monitoring diperlukan jaringan lokal dengan spesifikasi IP Address satu kelas dan satu segmen serta php yang berfungsi untuk mengeksekusi aplikasi kanan.exe dan kiri.exe. Dengan adanya teknologi ini, biaya untuk membangun sistem monitoring ruangan dapat ditekan secara signifikan.

ABSTRACT
Using Internet networking as transmission media control signal and monitoring has improved rapidly, in harmony with the characteristic of modern people development that have high mobility, find flexible service and want the eficiency, eazy and satisfying in every aspects. An eventually, the growth of using computer become higher, such as system of security room, to control tools at home, robotic control and product machine in industry. Progressively the increasing of crime and theft, needly media who has room monitoring become bigger. For that, we are need a system room monitoring capable to monitoring which can accessed by web.So that, the system can be monitored from long distance by passing Local Area Network (LAN). To monitoring from long distance, riquired an IP Cam that function present the picture (streaming video) in a room. But the obstacles is the IP Cam’s price so expensive. With this background and consideration, so writer try to suggest a soluttion, as alternative the picture (streaming video) from IP Cam can be change by using webcam and for movement of that webcam as far as 20 degree/execution used stepper motor, while to access the monitoring system needed a local network with the specification of IP Address one class and one segment and also functioning php to execute the application of kanan.exe and kiri.exe. With this technology, cost for build system room monitoring can be reduce significanly.
